Snake charmers arrested

TWO Indian snake charmers were arrested in New Delhi after threatening a woman with their serpents and stealing a gold ring from her.

Scores of snake charmers roam the streets of the Indian capital, performing for tourists. Venom from the captive snakes is removed by their handlers but some of the snake charmers still try to intimidate people into giving them money.
